A quiet stretch of woodland became the center of a disturbing investigation after hikers reported encountering a young woman behaving strangely beside the remains of a dead deer.
The hikers had been exploring a secluded trail when they noticed movement deeper among the trees. At first, they assumed someone might be injured or that they had stumbled upon an illegal hunting incident.
But as they approached, they realized something was seriously wrong.
Uncomfortable and unsure of what they were witnessing, the group immediately backed away and contacted authorities.
