Cheap chargers – a hidden danger
The biggest problem is poor quality or counterfeit chargers.
They often:
- They don’t have overvoltage protection
- They don’t regulate the electricity properly.
- I’m using bad components.
The result?
Overheating, damage to the battery, and even melting of the outlet.
High-quality, certified chargers have built-in protection mechanisms that prevent these situations — and therefore are not a luxury, but a minimum of safety.
Cables are running out faster than we think.
Pay attention to:
- cracked insulation
- bent or loose connectors
- visible wires
These are not “trifles”. These are the direct causes:
- Sparks
- Short circuit
- Fire
If the cable looks suspicious — it’s already for replacement.
Charging in the wrong place
One of the most common mistakes:
Charge your phone on your bed, pillow or couch.
The problem?
Soft surfaces retain heat.
Without cooling:
- The battery is overheating
- It’s rapidly consuming
- The risk of inflammation increases
The safest rule:
➡️ Charge devices on a hard, flat surface (table, chest of drawers).
