1960s Music Group Member Remembered at Age 80

Talley Ross later moved in a different direction. After leaving the pop world, she focused on her faith and family and eventually recorded Christian music. She released the album Full Circle in 1978.

She was married to broadcaster and DJ Scott Ross, who died in 2023, and the couple had four children.

A Legacy That Outlived the Spotlight

Talley Ross largely stepped away from the entertainment spotlight as the years passed, choosing to focus on her family and personal life.

But her contribution to music was never forgotten.

In 2007, The Ronettes were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, officially recognizing the group’s lasting influence on popular music.

With the deaths of Estelle Bennett in 2009 and Ronnie Spector in 2022, Talley Ross had become the last surviving original member of The Ronettes. Her passing therefore marks the end of an important chapter in the story of one of the most influential girl groups of the 1960s.
