But that is not the main error. It is just a whisper. A hint that this room might not be a real room from 2004 at all.

Now move your eyes up. Above the television is a wall clock. It is round, with a dark frame. It says approximately 10:07. The hands are clear. But look at the numbers on the clock face. Look very, very closely at the numbers around the edge. The 12 is at the top, where it should be. The 6 is at the bottom. But the numbers in between are slightly blurred, slightly uneven, and some of them look like they were drawn by someone who almost remembers what a clock looks like, but not quite. The 3, the 4, the 5, they are there, but they are not crisp. This is a classic sign of an image that was not taken with a real camera, but created by artificial intelligence.

In a real photograph from 2004, a clock would be sharp, even if the photo was old. Here, the clock is trying too hard to look real, and it fails in the details.
