The 2024 People’s Choice Country Music Awards, hosted by Shania Twain, elicited conflicting responses. It is not surprising that Shania was selected to present the awards because she is a worldwide icon whose appeal has endured for decades. Her career, which included hits like Man! I Feel Like a Woman! and others, earned her the recognition.
Although Shania received a lot of attention, not always for the reasons she might have wanted, the event, which took place on September 26 at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House, was well attended.
