Nolan Wells’ Mother Reveals the Funeral Plans That Reflect the Life He Lived—Not Just the Tragedy That Took Him

Instead, she encouraged friends and relatives to gather, share memories, laugh together, and celebrate the remarkable young man he was.

While tears are inevitable, the family believes Nolan’s legacy deserves to be defined by love, friendship, and the joy he brought to others rather than by the tragedy that ended his life.
A Message to Friends and Supporters

Christine also addressed the hundreds of people who have shown support since Nolan disappeared over the Fourth of July weekend.

She thanked local residents, teachers, coaches, classmates, teammates, churches, volunteers, and everyone who has offered prayers, encouragement, or financial assistance.

For those unable to contribute to the family’s fundraising efforts, she offered reassurance.

She said continued prayers and emotional support mean just as much.

She also spoke directly to Nolan’s friends, urging them to care for their own mental health during this difficult period and to lean on one another instead of suffering in silence.

Her One Request Before the Funeral

Before ending her remarks, Christine made one heartfelt request to anyone planning gatherings or demonstrations in Nolan’s memory.

She asked that everything remain peaceful.

According to his mother, Nolan never believed in violence and would never have wanted anger to overshadow the values he lived by.

Her hope is that every tribute reflects the kindness, respect, and compassion that defined his character.
Funeral Arrangements

Christine later confirmed additional details for supporters wishing to honor Nolan’s memory.

The funeral service is scheduled for Monday, July 20, at Center Point Church in Ocean Springs.

Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., immediately followed by the funeral service.

Afterward, close family members and invited guests will gather for a private celebration of Nolan’s life at the Jackson County Fairgrounds.
